This is the first badge I painted for her. The photograph shows two stages in the development of an Easter lily used as a supporter of the badge of Kimberly Louise Severson. The translucent tracing paper shows two successive hand-drawn versions of the flower, illustrating the progression of the artwork. Above them appears the finished digital rendering of the badge in its final painted form, accompanied by its two Easter lilies proper. The image documents the transition from the hand-drawn sketches to the completed artwork.
