Or, a sun in splendour party per pale Azure and Argent, its rays Azure; a bordure Azure.
Coat of arms of the youngest granddaughter of Jon. It has been designed by her and Juan Lanzagorta Vallín, and emblazoned by me using a lozenge shape. The image illustrates my process in 3 steps: 1) outlined, 2) plain colors and metals, and 3) light and shadows. The face of the sun, being party per pale Azure and Argent, appears as a sun and a crescent moon together, thus forming a figure that is not only cosmic but also almost alchemical; since the rays of the sun are Azure, the rule of tincture is observed on the field of the metal Argent.
