Sello ovalado que contiene un [ escudo con una Justicia, en su diestra una espada, alzada y en su siniestra una balanza. Timbrado de una corona real abierta]. Las divisas y los lemas rodean el sello.

I have created the seal of the National Association of Criminology Experts and Experts in Forensic Sciences for the Courts of Justice, based on its previous seal and derived from its emblem.

The shield of the seal and the emblem has the female figure of Justice. In Spanish heraldry, as demonstrated in [Valero de Bernabé, L.; 2012a; page 3] and in [Valero de Bernabé, L.; 2012b; page 25 and 26], it has a 13 times lower occurrence, 93% versus 7%, than the male figure.

Style keywords: Oval and Semi-circular.

Malka Gittel Bas Reuven, structured and parallel blazons

Coat of arms of Her Excellency Ratu Muda Malka Bas Reuven emblazoned by me with a shape known as a vesica piscis, and with the blazon written in English and Castilian in a structured way to observe the parallelism between both forms. My experience is that if shield shapes are named after countries, this creates problems in an international context. For example, if the shield with a rounded base is called a «Spanish shield», sooner or later someone will point out that the same shape is also used in Portugal, Hungary, or Poland, making it not exclusively Spanish. For this reason, I avoid assigning shield shapes names based on countries or kingdoms and instead give them names that describe their formal characteristics, which is not always easy. For example, I call the «semi-circular shield» in English and «escudo de medio punto» in Castilian to the commonly referred as «Spanish», or the «ogee shield» one that ends in an inverted ogee arch, «conopial» in Castilian. Despite this, at some point, breaking my own rule, I used the term «Bantu» to refer to the almond-shaped shield, only to be quickly corrected and informed of its connection to other African kingdoms. My mistake was not using the name I had always given it: «mandorla» in Castilian and «vesica piscis» in English.

G0057, Chief Herald of Arms of Malta's grant of Salvatore Buttaro's arms, whose full achievement has been emblazoned by me. The image shows a composition of the coat of arms painted by me alongside the same coat of arms as published in the book [Gauci, C. A.; Cassar, R. M.; 2025; 68], «The Register of Arms, Volume 1 (2019–2024)». A difference may be observed between the published interpretation of the arms and the current interpretation. In the current version, the sword is positioned more centrally, closer to the vertical axis of the shield, whereas in the published version the sword is placed nearer to the sinister flank, allowing it to be depicted slightly longer. The published arms corresponds to an earlier version painted by me, while the version with the more centrally placed sword corresponds to a second version, also painted by me, following a suggestion from the armiger. In any case, the wording of the blazon remains unchanged, and therefore both representations depict the same coat of arms.
