The composition combines, at dexter, a photograph sent by Marcio Nastri Vieira, showing the sky at dawn, taken by his sister during a flight, with his coat of arms in chief, and the same photograph at sinister with the elements of his arms, the Plough of Ursa Major and the demi-sun, and the tierced per fess delineation to mirror the natural gradation of the sky: Sable for the darkness of night, Azure for the first light at the horizon, and Sanguine for the glow of the rising sun.
