Design rationale

As explained by RegretedEagle9, the arms are canting of her surname, Pekny, which in Czech means «beautiful». For this reason the design combines two traditional symbols of beauty: a mermaid and a swan. The tinctures Argent and Gules refer to her Polish roots.
