Resolution 22/11/1703: «...the Board appoints Dr. Antonio Salmerón Cabañas of Madrid, Spain, to the position of Honorary Herald of the Genealogical Society of Ireland and, ...the Honorary Herald shall be an ex-officio member of the College of Fellows... Dr Salmerón Cabañas is a noted expert on heraldry, a renowned heraldic artist, and a member of the Society of Heraldic Arts. He is also an expert witness on heraldic matters for the Courts of Justice of the Kingdom of Spain...».

The sun used to be emblazoned with a human face, with its eyes, mouth, and nose, but in all the interpretations that I know of this blazon, the sun appears without a human face.
