Five hurts and five pommes

Riddle369 32 Hurts Pommes Question jpg

Transform the blazon «Or» into «Or, five Pommes in saltire» and the blazon «Argent» into «Argent, five Hurts in saltire» moving the pommes and hurts through both metals, without breaking the rule of tinctures.

You can change one charge by another one, but only once.

For example, if you change «Sable, a Bend Argent» by «Sable, a Pale Argent», then the Pommes can arrive to «Or» blazon. However, this is not a solution, because the Hurts cannot walk to «Argent» blazon.

Think before you move the cursor or click on the following link and see the solution.

Five hurts and five pommes, solution

Riddle369 33 Hurts Pommes Answer jpg

For example, if you change «Azure, a Cross Argent» by «Azure, a Pall Argent», then the Pommes can arrive to «Or» blazon and the Hurts can arrive to «Argent» blazon. You can view both paths azure and vert in the following image.

Other solution is to change «Azure, a Cross Argent» by «Azure, a Bordure Argent».

Escudo cortado y medio partido: 1o de oro, un roel de azur; 2o de gules y 3o de plata, brochante sobre ambos, una cruz de Malta del uno al otro.

Arms interpreted by me, contoured in Sable, and with a texturized finish.

Coat of arms of the municipality of Candasnos, Huesca, designed by Valeriano Labara Ballestar, approved by the Government of Aragon. It has been an honor for me to emblazon this hatching version for Valeriano Labara. [Labara Ballestar, V. C.; 2019; pages 361] «The figure of the Balsa Buena has been represented symbolically and in a stylized manner through a roundel or torteau. This avoids any hint of naturalism, which is so contrary to the art and science of heraldry».

Coat of arms of the municipality of Candasnos, Huesca, designed by Valeriano Labara Ballestar and approved by the Government of Aragon. It has been an honor for me to emblazon this hatched version with a crown for Valeriano Labara. I have interpreted it using dots and lines, a method called hatching which was useful for black and white illustrations. For the hatching I follow Silvestre Pietrasanta (1638) and Marcus Vulson de la Colombière (1639): for metals, Or with dots and Argent with pure white; for colors, Gules with vertical lines, Azure with horizontal lines, and for some jewels in the crown, Vert with diagonal lines bendwise. A hatched version can be seen in [Labara Ballestar, V. C.; 2019; pages 344 and 357].
