From this house descended Fernando de Peraza, Castellan and Governor of the Old Fortress of Aguilar in the land of Campo, Judicial District of Villalón, Valladolid, and another Fernando Ibárjez de Peraza, Lieutenant Governor of the Castle of Zurita, on the banks of the Zurita, after it was reconquered by King Alfonso VIII. The Peraza family connected with the Great House of Ayala and adopted the surname Peraza de Ayala.
