Coat of arms that I have organized based on a previous idea from the ANPC, in the following way: the mouth of the shield is rounded and is outlined at double my usual thickness; the whole is enamelled in gules, argent and or, illuminated, outlined in sable and with a watercolor finish; and to separate the letters of the motto a dot «·» is used at mid-height.

[Cadenas y Vicent, V. de; 1975; page 119 and following] dedicates its chapter 7 to «representative heraldry» and, within it, its first section to «professional heraldry», to which this coat of arms belongs according to his classification, and defines it as that which «corresponds to and reflects... all the emblems of the different professions, professional associations, societies where people with the same hobbies or pastimes are grouped». The other 3 categories that, together with «professional heraldry», make up «representative heraldry» are «industrial», «sport» and «tourism».

Personally, I follow my own heraldic classification, which follows to some extent [Cadenas y Vicent, V. de; 1975], in which the coats of arms of associations like the ANPC are classified within what I call socioeconomic heraldry.

In Castile, a coat of arms quarterly does not necessarily signify inheritance. This schema illustrates two practices: a) Quarterings can represent the mother in the 1^st and 4^th quarters and the father in the 2^nd and 3^rd, highlighting the prominence given to the maternal line by placing it in the most visible quarters. b) Quarterings can also include personal symbols and concepts, like canting arms, for example, «Manuel» =«mano» + «ala» = «hand» + «wing», combined with ancestral arms. This flexibility reflects Castilian heraldic traditions, where arms are not strictly marshalled by inheritance. The inclusion of maternal arms in the 1^st and 4^th quarters highlights how Castilian heraldry often elevates maternal heritage, differing from some other heraldic traditions. The previous commentary emphasizes the creative freedom in Castile, where quartering could incorporate personal symbols or canting arms without the constraints of inheritance or dominium. This flexibility aligns with Castilian culture, allowing heraldry to reflect personal identity, not just dynastic ties. Notably, the arms of Infante Enrique's use of a cross flory demonstrates this creative freedom, showcasing the ability to innovate within heraldry even in royal contexts. Design rationale

Per pale Vert and Azure represents the fields of Galicia facing the sea, with its «horreo» ~ granary and the oak leaves as symbols of Galician nature and of the values of strength and nobility of the bearer. The escallop symbolises the Holy Catholic Faith and traditional and conservative values. The sword represents Justice and the bearer’s studies in Law, as well as strength and worth. The bearer’s motto, «Nolite conformari huic saeculo» ~ «Be not conformed to this world», taken from the Epistle of the Apostle Saint Paul to the Romans, chapter 12, verse 2, expresses his personal view of life.

Personal coat of arms of Her Excellency Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, grant G0134 by Dr. Charles A. Gauci, Chief Herald of Arms of Malta. This coat of arms has been emblazoned by me. I have written the blazon in English and Castilian in a structured way to observe the parallelism between both forms. Someone asked me a interesting question about the first quarter: «Why is the lion overlapping the fess (i.e., colour on colour)?» This was my answer: I had no choice in the design, since each quarter represents one of her ancestral lineages, and the Chief Herald of Arms of Malta provided the precise blazon for each of them. My work was to paint the coat of arms according to those official instructions. In the case of the lion, it overlaps slightly because it is shown walking upon the fess. And importantly, the rule of tincture does not apply to tiny details. A well-known example is the lions of the arms of the Kingdom of England, whose claws are color Azure over a color Gules field. In this case, the lion’s claws and the underside of its paws are color Gules over an color Azure fess, perfectly acceptable for such small elements.

The Royal Association of Hidalgos of Spain was founded under the name «Asociación de Hidalgos, Infanzones y Noblezas a Fuero de España» by Vicente and Francisco de Cadenas y Vicent, the Marquises of Siete Iglesias and of Zayas, and also by Valentín Dávila Jalón, Marquis of Dávila.

This association brings together nobles of Spanish lineages with the aim of maintaining and promoting the traditional values of the hidalguía and is inspired by the principles of Christian humanism. It fulfills its duty to provide services to Spain, its institutions and its citizens, with loyalty to the Crown and commitment to Spanish culture and history.

Its magazine Hidalgos, also known as «La Gacetilla de Hidalgos de España», or simply «La Gacetilla», as this was its name until the end of 2010, precisely until its issue 524 of October, November and December 2010. This magazine is an excellent source of knowledge and information, and some of its articles are cited throughout Blason.es, for example, those by [Valero de Bernabé, L.; 2009b], [Valero de Bernabé, L.; 2010] and [Valero de Bernabé, L.; 2012b].

In saltire arrangements, I prefer to place the element in bend over the element in bend sinister, since the bend takes precedence over the bend sinister. Therefore, in my interpretation of this coat of arms and unlike other interpretations, the two-handed sword placed in bend is drawn above the one placed in bend sinister.
