This is the coat of arms of Johann Anton Freiherr von Quast that was painted in the Freiherren diploma that was issued in 1790. This coat of arms has been emblazoned by me because the family needed a modern version that can be used digitally. The 5^th ICGHV was held at the historic National Museum - Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania and was organized by the Genealogijos, Heraldikos ir Veksilologijos Institutas. This family armorial composition presents ten personal coats of arms, each one created for a specific member of the family, while preserving a shared visual and heraldic language. The arms are those of Iker Lanzagorta Ochoa, Teresa Otxoa Magaña, Ixai Lanzagorta Ochoa, María de los Ángeles Carrillo Padilla, Itziar Lanzagorta Ochoa, Alejandra Espeja Amieva, the youngest granddaughter of Jon Lanzagorta Vallín, Juan Lanzagorta Vallín himself, the eldest granddaughter of Jon Lanzagorta Vallín, and Andrés Cruz Carballo.

It should be borne in mind that in heraldry there is no fixed or inherent symbolic meaning attached to charges; any symbolic value, where it exists, derives from the intention of the original bearer or the creator of the arms. Nevertheless, heraldic tradition has preserved historical explanations for the origin of certain charges. In this respect, [Wade, W. The coat of arms of Iker Lanzagorta Ochoa, designer, and manufacturer of wooden furniture. This coat of arms has been designed by him, his father Juan Lanzagorta Vallín, and me, and emblazoned by me. The image illustrates my process in 3 steps: 1) delineation with ratios, 2) plain color and metals, and 3) light and shadows. When 2 elements are in saltire I use to see the element bendwise more times under than over the other element. But being bendwise more important than bend sinisterwise I decide, time ago, to emblazon the element bendwise over by default.

Canting arms of Rex Lancefield emblazoned by me under the directions of his descendant Erik Paul Arnelien. This photograph shows my hand-drawn Nordic scroll alongside the coat of arms in which it is used as a external decoration. The scroll was drawn directly in ink on tracing paper using a fine technical pen and long, continuous strokes, without any preliminary pencil sketch, repeating the design as many times as necessary until the desired result was achieved. The image shows an initial tracing on tracing paper with a second, more refined tracing superimposed over it; this version was later refined a third time digitally, as can be seen in the final rendering of the complete coat of arms.
