The crescent of these arms is a historical charge Argent placed on a field Or; metal over metal, in Italian heraldic terminology this is described as «cucito» ~ in French and English «cousu» ~ in Spanish «cosido». In Castilian heraldry it is not necessary to specify the number of points of the mullet, since the default value is 6.
